Jasmine Goode is speaking out against The Bachelor alum Nick Viall, who requested an apology from her on the May 29 episode of his podcast, The Viall Files.
After Nick, 44, welcomed Jasmine’s co-star from The Valley, Janet Caperna, 35, to his show and looked back on his “uncomfortable” moment with Jasmine, 37, on season 21 of The Bachelor in 2017, which saw Jasmine pretending to choke him after failing to nab a one-on-one date, claiming he was “still triggered,” Jasmine accused him of using her for attention.
“Nick is a clout chaser,” Jasmine told the Daily Mail in response to Nick’s statements. “He wants attention.”
According to Jasmine, she already made an appearance on his podcast in which they “joked about” the incident.
“[Number one], he laughed about it. Number two, I did not actually touch him. It was gesturing. And number three, when you’re in that situation, I was a sister wife, this is my man, you’re dating, this is your boyfriend,” she explained. “I’m sorry, I’m from [New] Jersey. If I’m upset with you, like, yes I want to choke you right now. That’s how we handle things. So, for Nick to act like, ‘Oh, Jasmine,’ please. Really, Nick? Get something else.”
“I know you want attention, but this is so Nick coded,” she added.
Also speaking to the Daily Mail, Jasmine recalled being “triggered” by The Valley co-star Danny Booko, 41, who had been “inappropriate” with her and her fiancée, Melissa Marie, while drunk at a Halloween party.
Although Danny apologized to them both after the incident, Jasmine made it clear that she felt his “I’m sorry” wasn’t genuine and expressed a need for a second apology.
“When this all happened, I got a text message from Danny, and then he apologized to Melissa at the white party,” she explained. “That’s the only time. I know he keeps saying he’s done this numerous times, and it wasn’t multiple apologies. It was at one time at the white party.”
As for how she feels after Danny’s second apology, Jasmine confirmed the moment was crucial to their ability to establish a future friendship.
“Having that conversation with him again, I think I needed him to understand, like, look, if you want a friendship with me, I want you to understand this is what you did to me and how it made me feel,” she shared.
