The cast of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is back for a sixth season. And judging by the recently released trailer, both marriages and friendships are being tested.
In a sneak peek at the new episodes, which feature the returns of Meredith Marks, 53, Lisa Barlow, 50, Heather Gay, 51, Angie Katsanevas, 51, Mary Cosby, 52, Whitney Rose, 38, Bronwyn Newport, and Britani Bateman, 54, Lisa and Bronwyn hint at marital troubles with their husbands, John Barlow and Todd Bradley, as Lisa goes to war with Angie and Angie’s sisterly bond with Mary comes to an abrupt end.
“Stop with your lies,” Meredith demands as scenes from the group’s meeting with a Greek bishop are featured.
“I have no secrets,” Lisa insists.
“Say it one more time. I’m gonna lose my mind,” Mary declares.
As the intro continues, honesty seems to be a central theme as Heather tells the cast they “all need to own things,” and Angie requests “the truth” from Lisa.
“We have to be honest about this,” Bronwyn states.
As the group sorts through their issues with one another, Lisa opens up to John about the tension in their marriage.
“I feel like we’re on different pages,” she admits, later addressing matters of trust during a psychic’s reading.
“Why do you feel like you’re just rebuilding trust?” the psychic wonders.
“I don’t know,” Lisa replies.
Then, after Bronwyn asks Whitney why Lisa said, “Don’t tell John I borrowed the money,” and confirms that the mystery man in question was who Angie had spoken about, Bronwyn faces marriage drama of her own as she admits to feeling “misunderstood” by Todd.
“You know how I feel about when people misunderstand me. I shouldn’t have to feel misunderstood with you, too,” she tells him.
Bronwyn also faces claims of infidelity in her marriage, as Britani notes that she saw something “about a mistress.”
“What if I’m wrong and I’m gonna look like a fool and he humiliates me?” Bronwyn asks Mary.
Amid concerns about her marriage, Bronwyn also faces a messy feud with Lisa, who tells her, “You should really go to school.”
“You should go to work to pay off those f*cking lawsuits off, is what you should do,” Bronwyn claps back, signaling the legal drama surrounding Lisa’s businesses, including Vida Tequila and Luxe Marketing.
“F*ck you, d*cksucker,” Lisa replies.
Elsewhere, Lisa and Angie reach a breaking point, with Lisa yelling, “You questioned every single f*cking thing I have.”
“Shut your f*cking mouth,” Angie replies. “I’m gonna come over there and pull your ears further back than they’ve been pulled by your f*cking facelift.”
“I don’t have a facelift, but I have 12 threads on each side,” Lisa clarifies.
Also falling apart are Angie and Mary.
“You’re supposed to be my sister,” Mary tells her former bestie.
“I am your sister,” Angie insists.
“No, you’re not. Find another one. Okay?” Mary fires back.
Also in the sneak peek, Mary offers an update on Robert Cosby Jr., telling Whitney, “He’s doing as well as he can be doing. Some days he’s good. Some days he’s not.”
“You know, it’s his journey, and I know God will work it out,” she adds in a confessional.
As the trailer concludes, Whitney asks, “Can I have the crazy pill that y’all took?” Lisa then replies, “Apparently, you’re already taking it.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six premieres on Wednesday, September 16, at 8/7c on Bravo.
