Elizabeth Hurley & Billy Ray Cyrus Bond Over Guitar Playing

The actress is making sure she and Billy Ray Cyrus never run out of fun things to do, as she picks up a new hobby – fondling with the guitar strings, just like her boo!

Elizabeth Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus went public with their relationship in April, a few months after he finalized his divorce from Firerose in August 2024.

The screen goddess who clocked 60 in June revealed that she has been spending quality time with the country singer, getting familiar with his world.

While her guitar skills are still very rusty, Hurley is hopeful for the coming months, when she will become an absolute pro with the musical instrument. The actress shared that they have been in England enjoying the summer while she takes on Cyrus’ one-on-one guitar class.

The couple has definitely had their hands full in the United Kingdom as well as she had previously shared in an interview. From adopting two tortoises to watching birds and watching Cyrus’s two daughters perform in London, the actress is having all the fun.

On her romance with Cyrus, the model affirmed that it feels great because the singer has been nothing but incredibly supportive, according to The Daily Mail.

Hurley clocked 60, a few months after she publicly confirmed her relationship with Cyrus, but the celebration did not come with pomp and pageantry. She revealed that she spent the day in great company with her friends, family, and loved ones. 

Her son, Damian, baked them a lovely cake while she sat around giggling with some of her best friends at home. “This year has been such a whirlwind that it was wonderful to sit back and be spoiled for a few days,” Hurley noted.

Since turning the golden age, Hurley revealed that a serious resolution to enjoy the pleasures of life in the comfort of her home was top on her list.

Describing herself as a workaholic who is more relaxed on a film set than anywhere else, the actress affirmed that she has now decided to take work-life balance more seriously. In her words:

“So I make a conscious effort now to really enjoy spending more time at home with my family and friends and not just skip from job to job.”

Cosmopolitan reported last month that the actress and the country legend met on the set of the Christmas comedy “Christmas in Paradise” in 2022. Fast forward to April 2025, the duo shared their love with the world via an easter Instagram post of them in a field sharing the joy of the season. 

A day later, a source close to the singer’s ex-wife, Tish Cyrus, stated that she felt insulted by the relationship because she had her suspicions when the duo met on the set of their Christmas movie.

However, when she confronted Cyrus, he denied it, but the picture revealed that they had indeed stayed in contact, despite Tish’s resistance.

By May, Cyrus had claimed Hurley in front of the camera by going red-carpet official with the actress, and in June, they appeared at the Royal Academy of Dance fundraising event in London.

Last month, sources close to the lovebirds noted that his next album will feature love songs heavily inspired by the actress. “He is very happy with Elizabeth. She is motivating him in a very big way. The songs are all about how she ‘heals’ him and how sexy she is,” the insider added.

Last week, the actress celebrated her beau’s birthday in an Instagram post where she shared her cute nickname for him with the world.

Cyrus is in a good place with his estranged daughter, Miley Cyrus, and he has Hurley to thank for it. As shared by The Blast, the singer yearned to introduce his girlfriend to his family; the only way that would happen is through a resolution.

The country singer reportedly had an epiphany about his failed marriage to Firerose and admitted he should have considered his daughter’s perspective about the whole thing. 

The insider added that the “Hannah Montana” actor was ready to do anything humanly possible to bring peace to his household. While his bond with his other kids remains in excellent shape, the one with Miley left a hole in his heart.

“He isn’t trying to go backwards, but he’s hoping and praying that they can have a new beginning and a new version of their family,” the source revealed.

Although it started as a show of friendship and solidarity to the singer, Hurley’s decision to reach out to him at a challenging time changed their entire story.

Cyrus admitted that, although nothing happened on the set of their 2022 Christmas movie, it was clear that they shared great chemistry with one another. Finally, in 2024, Hurley’s text came in, which read:

“Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough, and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner.”

Now, the couple has taken their romance to great heights, with PDA-filled pictures on Instagram and an unending display of affection in their red-carpet appearances.
