The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is firmly in the rearview mirror for Garcelle Beauvais.
The actress and producer, who announced her exit from the hit Bravo franchise in March, gave an exciting update on her life post-Housewives while walking the red carpet at the 2025 Emmy Awards.
“I am thriving,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I am thriving,” Garcelle, 58, reiterated in a sing-song voice.
“It’s been really fun to work on projects I want to work on. I’m developing shows. I’m starring in shows. It’s just been really fantastic,” she added, noting that she is also spending more time with her sons. (Garcelle shares Oliver, 32, with her first husband, Daniel Saunders, and 17-year-old twins Jax and Jaid with second husband Mike Nilon.)
Garcelle had a pointed response when asked if she missed being in front of the Bravo cameras. “No, not really,” said the Black Girl Missing star.
Garcelle’s former costars Kyle Richards, Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke, Dorit Kemsley and Bozoma Saint John are currently filming RHOBH season 15. They will be joined by celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, whose casting Us Weekly first confirmed back in June.
“I am beyond excited to be returning home to Bravo to join the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!” Zoe exclusively told Us in a statement. “I’ve been living my best, new life and it felt like the perfect time to come back to TV and share it all with you. Here we go … RZ 2.0!”
Garcelle confirmed her departure from the Bravo reality show after five seasons in March.
“Hey, guys, so I have some news. I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills,” Garcelle said in an Instagram video. “It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
She continued, “I just want to say thank you to [executive producer] Andy Cohen, to Bravo, NBCUniversal, Evolution, 32 Flavors, the producers, the crew and, of course, the ladies.”
Garcelle said that Andy, 57, told her she can “come back any time, the door will always be open.” She added, “You never know, I might pop in sometime.”
As for Garcelle’s future on reality television, don’t expect to see the Coming to America actress on the Emmy-winning Traitors any time soon.
“I’ve been asked,” she responded when asked if she’d consider the Peacock game show. “I don’t like to hike, I don’t like bugs. Can I just sit somewhere and eat bonbons? The girl’s tired.”
