Avengers: Doomsday is the biggest movie since the 2019 event ensemble Avengers: Endgame, which was the culmination of over a decade of films, changing the entire landscape of the MCU. Fans haven’t been very happy with all parts of the studio’s output since then, but there’s hope in these upcoming movies that will welcome back returning directors Joe and Anthony Russo and writer Stephen McFeely.
The film kicked off production in April, and has been shrouded in mystery and rumors since before then. All we really knew going in was that the movie would welcome Robert Downey Jr. back to the fold, but this time as the villainous Dr. Victor von Doom.
We also got a long list of returning Marvel actors who were announced as part of the cast, but we also know that there will be additional surprises along the way.
The latest rumor from the Doomsday camp comes from industry scooper Daniel Richtman, and it claims that Avengers: Doomsday will finally wrap filming at some point this week.
This is just a rumor for now, with no one on the Avengers: Doomsday production officially confirming the wrap date, so we will just have to wait and see.
This would make sense though, as production on the film began in April, and was initially expected to last for approximately six months. Several actors have already finished filming their scenes for the movie, including Pedro Pascal and Alan Cumming.
Official details for Avengers: Doomsday remain heavily under wraps at this time.
