Charlie Kirk’s Fatal Shooting Shakes The Nation

As we previously shared, Kirk was fatally shot in the neck on September 10. The incident occurred 20 minutes into the controversial political pundit’s talk at Utah Valley University. The 31-year-old activist, also known as “The Trump Whisperer,” was seated on stage to kick-off his company Turning Point’s “American Comeback Tour.”

While answering an audience member’s question about gun violence and black crime, gunfire erupted. A bullet struck the left side of his neck. The crowd at Utah Valley University was left in shock as first responders rushed in to help. He was later pronounced dead. He leaves behind his wife Erika Kirk, and their two children, ages 1 and 3.

Black Trump Supporter Travels Across Country To Pay Tribute And Support Charlie Kirk: ‘He Really Woke Me Up, He’ll Be Missed’

On Sunday (September 21), thousands upon thousands gathered to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Charlie Kirk. The memorial service took place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. One of the thousands of people to show up was a male Black Trump supporter. On-air, Fox News host Bill Melugin only identified him as “Adrian from Missouri.”

While speaking with Melugin, the man wore a a blue “Trump-Vance ’24” shirt. He accompanied it with a red MAGA (Make America Great Again) hat. Off-camera, he previously told Melugin that he traveled a long way from his home state. As he told Melugin why he traveled across the country for Kirk, Adrian said:

“[It was important] to show my support. It’s sad what happened to Charlie. I actually got to meet the man. He’s a very humble man, a very spiritual man. And I loved that about him. I just loved how he stood up for America and how he was able to get Donald Trump into office. And how he talked to the youth and gave everybody a fair shot. So, I just wanted to come and show my support.”

As they stood outside the stadium, Melugin told Adrian it had already surpassed its occupancy. He said over 60,000 people made it inside, and thousands more in the overflow sections. While boasting about Kirk, the Missouri man said:

“It was to be expected, if you ask me. He’s a very loved man. He’s gonna be missed. Charlie, he always brought out big crowds. And he always stayed on relevant topics, and he speaks very well. So, I think that a lot of people wanted to know him personally. We all felt like we knew him personally.”

While continuing to reflect on Charlie Kirk and his mission, the man shared:

“I plan on speaking out a lot more too. He actually inspired me. I’m usually a little bit more reserved when it comes to speaking out and being loud about things. But, he really woke me up. And I’m a lot older than him. I’m 42. So, he inspired me to just want to speak more and give my opinion. So, I don’t think [his death] should go in vain.”
