Drake may have suffered a very public L in his high-profile battle with Kendrick Lamar last year, but it doesn’t appear to have hurt his popularity.

According to Chart Data, the 6 God has just become the first-ever artist to amass 120 billion streams on Spotify across all credits (including both his solo output and collaborations with other artists).

It means Drake has extended his lead as the most-streamed artist on the world’s most popular music streaming platform.

To put that mammoth figure into context, the second most-streamed artist on Spotify is Taylor Swift who has just over 110 billion (and counting) spins to her name, per Kworb — a staggering 10 billion behind Drake.

Bad Bunny, who is third on that list, is the only other artist with over 100 billion streams, while The Weeknd, Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran all trail with 84.5 billion, 64.2 billion and 59.6 billion, respectively.

Taking a closer look at Drake’s catalog, “One Dance” is his most-streamed song on Spotify with over 3.7 billion plays. The Views hit also holds the distinction of being his first solo number one on the Billboard Hot 100 back in 2016.

“God’s Plan” follows with 2.8 billion streams, while “Passionfruit” (1.9 billion), “Work” (1.5 billion) and “Hotline Bling” (1.5 billion) round out his top five tracks.

It’s unclear whether Drake or Spotify plan to celebrate the achievement, but when the Toronto titan reached 100 billion streams back in 2022, he was honored with his very own FC Barcelona jersey.

The Spanish soccer giants, who are sponsored by Spotify, wore special OVO owl jerseys during their El Clásico clash with fierce rivals Real Madrid that October (fittingly enough).

The so-called “Drake curse” appeared to strike again, however, as Barça suffered a 3-1 defeat in that game. Top scorer Robert Lewandowski and co. ended up winning the La Liga title that season, though, so maybe the loss was all part of God’s plan.
