Internet Users Continue To Slam Dorit Kemsley And The Release Of Her Book

“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley has unveiled the cover of her new memoir, “Unburdened,” and just like the book’s initial announcement, it has many of the show’s fans firing off with negative critiques.

According to a new report from PEOPLE, the cover of Kemsley’s new memoir shows the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reality star standing front and center in a striking black outfit with flowy blonde hair.

“I’m beyond thrilled to share the cover of my memoir with you all,” Kemsley said. “This book is one of the most personal and meaningful projects I’ve ever taken on, and I can’t wait for you to step into my world, my story and my truth.”

Kemsley has been a focal point on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” for years, but she insists there’s more to her story that even the biggest Bravoholics don’t know.

Kemsley said her memoir will tell her “deeply personal” story for the first time, touching on themes of “self-love, transformation, and resilience.”

According to a previous report from The Blast, Kemsley stated that her forthcoming publication, scheduled for release in spring 2026, is the “full story.”

“For years, people have seen glimpses of my life — but this book is the full story. The beauty, the heartbreak, the fear, the fight and the strength it took to become the woman I am today,” the mother of two revealed. “I am writing this book not just to look back, but to move forward — with determination, grace and honesty.”

Kemsley was met with significant backlash when she first announced the book, and the reaction was much the same after unveiling the cover.

On Instagram, one user wrote about how they’d prefer to “flush my brain down the toilet than read this book,” while another asked what the reality star could possibly be writing about, “Shopping? Grifting?” they posted.

Other users echoed similar feelings, with one asking for publishers to stop giving “the most uninteresting people” book deals, prompting another to ask who would even read it in the first place.

While the specific stories in Kemsley’s memoir remain unknown, it’s expected that she will speak in-depth about her time in front of the Bravo cameras.

Based on the book’s synopsis, there’s also a strong chance she’ll touch on her strained relationship with her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley. As noted in the season 14 premiere, the pair has faced many challenges over the years.

“We had a rough few years,” Kemsley said in the episode. “It wasn’t consistently a rough few years; it was just like, good and bad, good and bad. And then it started to get progressively worse.”

And while she admitted that she has no plans to get back together with PK, she told PEOPLE in a separate interview that their previous journey together makes the split much harder.

“He’s my soul, he’s my blood, he’s my heart and I hate that, because it makes it so much more difficult,” she said. “But I also know I need peace.”

The cover unveiling of Kemsley’s memoir comes at an especially interesting time, as her former co-star, Lisa Rinna, announced her new title, “You Better Believe I’m Gonna Talk About It,” on September 24, 2025, per The Blast.

Rinna’s cover features three versions of herself wearing a bright blue dress with matching red tights and gloves, all while rocking her signature short, spiky haircut.

Rinna said the grand and bold cover was intentional, teasing that it foreshadows the thrilling details between the pages.

“I don’t know if everyone is ready for all of the truth I am unloading in this book,” Rinna said. “But I was certainly ready to tell it.”

“Life comes with a lot of ups and downs, and so much of it gets lost ‘in the editing,’ if you will. It was time to share the director’s cut,” she went on. “I put so much of myself into this book; the good, the bad, and the wackadoodle. It feels really good to see it finally come together.”
