Gina Huynh was supposed to be ‘Victim-3’ in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs‘ trial. And while she was mentioned, she never took the stand. This week, she shed light on what allegedly happened behind the scenes in a letter she penned to Judge Arun Subramanian on Diddy’s behalf. Virginia Huynh claims prosectors made her feel “pressured” to go against her experience of him. Regarding submitting a letter, Gina said the choice was hers alone. Allegedly, no one asked her to.

Gina Huynh Says Prosecutors Wanted Her To Be A Victim

The letter, dated September 30, is one page. Gina identified herself as Victim-3 in the trial records and acknowledged that charges were brought against Diddy concerning her, “including accusations of sex trafficking and prostitution.” Virginia explained that she cooperated with prosecutors. She met with them three times, answered questions and provided evidence, including photos, videos, and texts from her phone.

However, Gina Huynh says she refused to be the victim they wanted her to be. She denied that Diddy ever sex trafficked her or that she engaged in prostitution. Huynh also clarified that she had planned to testify using the same energy!

“During those meetings, I felt pressured to feel like a victim. I told them I was not but they insisted that I was, even when I expressed my truth otherwise. I understand they concluded that I had been sex trafficked and involved in “forced prostitution.” I did not agree with that conclusion. I was not trafficked. I did not engage in prostitution with him or others. That would have been my testimony if called to the stand.”

Gina says she was prepared to testify after being subpoenaed, but her lawyer later told her she no longer had to.

Huynh Asks For Sean Combs To Be Released To His Family

Gina, in her letter, says she understands the “seriousness of this case and the painothers may feel.” However, speaking only for herself, she believes he should be turned over to his family’s custody. She also emphasized that she wanted her voice as Victim-3 to be heard and to reveal how she felt during the investigation and trial.

“In terms of sentencing, I kindly ask that you consider releasing him back to his family. I understand throughout the process he has been cooperative and respectful, including turning himself in. Throughout this process he has never once reached out to me or made me feel uncomfortable in any way. I believe he will continue to be compliant with the Court’s conditions upon release. I understand that accountability is important and I am not writing this to dismiss the gravity of the charges, nor to criticize anyone. I write to express my perspective as a so-called victim. I write to express how I felt during the investigation and trial, and how I feel now waiting to hear the sentence. I felt compelled to share my own perspective honestly. I respectfully ask that you take my words into consideration when making your decision. Thank you for your time and for allowing me to be heard.”

As previously reported, Judge Subramanian plans to proceed with sentencing Diddy on Friday, October 3, at 10 a.m. local time. His defense requested that the conviction be overturned, but Subramanian declined on Tuesday. Combs is convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act, which outlaws transportation to engage in prostitution. A jury found him guilty of arranging travel for male sex workers to engage in elaborate “freak offs” with his girlfriends. The maximum penalty for each count is 10 years, and prosecutors seek at least 11 years behind bars.

Meanwhile, his defense is pushing for no more than 14 months locked up. With time served, that would free Diddy almost immediately. He’s been in custody in a Brooklyn metro jail since September 2024. They argue that Diddy suffered enough during that time and used it to become a “changed” man.

Yung Miami, Diddy’s Kids & Others Submit Character Letters Before Sentencing

Gina isn’t the only one to throw her support behind Diddy in a letter. Other women in his life, including ex-boo Yung Miami and his youngest child’s mother Dana Tran, have also written to the judge asking for leniency.

But for every supporter, there have also been some who strongly support the prosecution’s position. From Cassie and her mother to former Diddy employees who testified, there are some who want jail time.

“If there is one thing I have learned from this experience, it is that victims and survivors will never be safe,” Cassie wrote.

A former personal assistant who testified under the pseudonym “Mia” asked Subramanian to dispense a sentence “that takes into account the ongoing danger my abuser poses to me, and to others.”

Ex-Combs employee Capricorn Clark suggested he’d benefit from spending time in prison. Stylist Deonte Nash said he doesn’t expect Combs to be in jail forever but was “praying for a sentence that allows the victims to heal and encourages Mr. Combs to genuinely change.” Diddy has left “a long trail of victims, many of whom still live in fear,” Nash wrote.

Jourdan-Cha’Taun Atkinson, Combs’ personal chef from 2007 to 2010, said she was set to testify but prosecutors pulled her at the last minute. Calling for the maximum sentence, she said she knew Combs “to be a very dangerous and spiteful man. With a long memory, and a panache for payback.”
