Apple TV+ has dropped the official trailer for its upcoming 5-part documentary series Mr. Scorsese, and it looks like an essential watch for film lovers. Coming from award-winning director Rebecca Miller, the series takes a deep dive into the life, work, and artistic evolution of one of cinema’s most iconic filmmakers, Martin Scorsese.

From there, the series promises to explore how his personal experiences, obsessions, and creative drive shaped the groundbreaking films that redefined modern cinema.
According to Apple’s official synopsis: “Mr. Scorsese is a 5-part documentary event of one man through the lens of his work, exploring the many facets of a visionary who redefined filmmaking, including his extraordinary career and unique personal history.
