Katy Perry Fined $7,000 After Cheeky Bikini Display On Beach

Katy Perry sizzled in her cheeky bikini while filming her “Lifetimes” music video last year, but her beach-set video cost her. In August 2024, the singer jetted out to Spain, where she hit up a protected nature reserve space to shoot her video. While Katy’s Instagram fans were delighted by her bikini-clad photos, the result was a $7,000 fine. Katy, who wasn’t fined personally, had her production team slapped with a penalty, all on account of having visited the Ses Salines Natural Park without a permit. Katy has yet to comment on the offence, although with her $400 million net worth, the fine likely didn’t make a dent.

Looking slim as she continued to make weight loss headlines, Katy sent the camera a big smile, stretching her arms out in one photo while flaunting her curves in a monochrome swimsuit. Drawing the eye to her cleavage and tiny waist, the “Roar” hitmaker stunned in a stringy, zebra bikini, with some photos showing off her rear as he braved a cheeky thong.

Katy, who wore shades and her hair down, kneeled in the sand dunes in another image, arching her back a little while throwing her arms up above her head. In an Instagram caption, the ex to Orlando Bloom wrote: “LIFETIMES IS OUT TOMORROW AT 3PM PT AHHH.” While the video went smoothly and Katy has since made headlines for her April 2025-commenced Lifetimes tour, the local authorities didn’t ignore the fact that she’d pretty much broken the law.

An investigation was carried out, with a report saying that “in no case had the production company” asked for permission to film in the protected area. Perry had filmed part of her video in the protected dunes of S’Espalmador.

Katy Perry’s production company has since been fined just over 6,000 euros, which equates to around $7,000.

There’s been more recent swimsuit action from Katy, though. In the wake of her July split from former fiancé Orlando Bloom, the 40-year-old was spotted exiting the ocean after a swim as she enjoyed Miami Beach. Sizzling in a black bikini with pops of white, the stunner wore shades and her hair soaking wet, quickly making headlines for flaunting her single girl curves. “Katy and Orlando have split but are amicable. It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is, of course, upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life,” a source told UsWeekly.

In the above Instagram photo, Katy Perry reminded fans of the curves she’s maintained despite her weight loss. She slipped her figure into a bust-structured, paneled dress with corset accents, going light in floral prints while ditching the bra.
