Lucy Dacus has announced Forever Is A Feeling: The Archives, the counterpart to her fourth studio album, Forever Is A Feeling. The LP will be released digitally on Oct. 10 via Geffen Records and will feature reimagined versions of tracks, like “Best Guess (wedding version)” and a live recorded performance of “Bullseye” with Hozier at Radio City Music Hall. In addition to the fresh versions, Dacus included never-before-released songs like “Losing” and a cover of “Time In A Bottle” by Jim Croce.
Last month, Dacus wrapped up her sold-out Forever Is A Feeling tour last month which initially kicked off earlier this year with MUNA singer Katie Gavin, who opened up about making music and touring together for their joint AP cover story.

At the start of the tour in January, Dacus posted a call-out to see if anyone would be interested in getting married at one of her shows. “I can think of all sorts of reasons people may be interested in securing the rights granted through marriage,” Dacus explained. “So if you’ve had it in mind forever or are just recently making the decision, I will be honored to do the honors!” Since getting ordained, Dacus has officiated numerous weddings while onstage, including nine at this year’s All Things Go festival in New York. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tomorrow (Oct. 9), Dacus will perform and officiate weddings.
Later this year, Dacus will release Forever Is A Feeling: The Archives on vinyl, which will include two extra songs — a live recorded version of “Talk” from her performance at Red Rocks and a demo of “The Most Hated Man In West Tennessee.” The Forever Is A Feeling: The Archives vinyl will be available on Dec. 19.
