“I’ll Let the Lawyers Handle It”: Saweetie Claps Back After Ex-Associate Airs Out Dirty Laundry Online
On Friday morning, Saweetie stepped into her own defense after a woman claiming to be her ex-manager tried to drag her name through the social media mud. The Grammy-nominated rapper took to her platform with a sharp, composed clapback and made it clear: she’s not arguing online, she’s lawyering up.

“The recent accusations made about me are false, defamatory, and deeply disturbing,” Saweetie wrote. “These claims misrepresent the facts and are solely aimed to damage my reputation. She continued, “This person never managed me. She was simply introduced to me by family. Her motives are now obvious. I’ll let the lawyers take it from here.”
The “Tap In” rapper’s statement comes after a woman by the name of Maybach Mayy hit Instagram with a laundry list of messy accusations earlier this month, claiming she managed Saweetie, booked her appearances, and is now allegedly owed money. According to Mayy, things took a turn when Saweetie got close to Manchester United footballer Jadon Sancho.
“I wanna make 1 thing clear, i booked her for an appearance to visit the chelsea stadium & support the soccer team…instead of paying me she fell in love w the client & told him not to pay me,” Maybach Mayy posted. “i was a road manger w her getting her deals. i was solid to this girl. she got what she wanted & never paid me. Simple i want my money!”
Mayy didn’t stop there. In a string of now-viral posts, she dropped alleged text messages and wild accusations that Saweetie is “running it up” on Sancho and disrespected her own music career in the process.
“Sancho after you done paying & getting tattoos of a hoe u barley know, run me my money, she hates her career so you came right on time like the trick you are,” she wrote. In another post, she didn’t hold back: “Pay up coke head for I start naming the rest of the husbands you was playin w! [Cocaine], witchcraft, & liquor is one hell of a mix, send me my bread home [wrecker]! @saweetie.”Whew.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Maybach Mayy even claimed she went live because Jadon Sancho himself allegedly encouraged her to “take it to the internet” when she asked him to cover what she says she’s owed.
As of now, Mayy hasn’t responded to Saweetie’s official statement, but the internet is definitely watching—and receipts are being bookmarked in real time.
From the outside looking in, it’s a messy situation steeped in alleged betrayal, business beef, and internet drama. But one thing’s for sure: Saweetie is choosing silence and strategy over social sparring.
