The Valley‘s Brittany Cartwright reacted to Lala Kent’s feud with Scheana Shay, and she hinted at why she recently broke up with boyfriend Brandon Hanson.
Earlier this year, on their respective podcasts, Scheana and Lala revealed their falling out. But the exact story is unclear, as both sides have completely different versions of what triggered the feud.
On Virtual Reali-Tea, Brittany reacted to the drama.
“I’m really sad about it,” she said. “I hope that [Scheana and Lala] can talk to each other in person. I think talking about it publicly instead of talking to each other is hurting them worse … They’ve been such good friends for such a long time. And I know there’s real love there.”
Brittany then hinted at where she stands with both of them.
“I think they’re both great people. Lala has been an amazing friend to me, not that Scheana hasn’t. But I see Lala all the time,” Brittany explained. “And she’s thriving. She’s doing incredible.”
“[Lala and Scheana] do see each other because their kids are still in school together,” she went on. “But I think a lot of hurt has been said … publicly.”
At one point, Brittany addressed her breakup with Brandon.
“I love being single, I think I just really wanted to be in a relationship for a little bit. It was somebody that I had known for a long time, so I felt like it was good, but the long distance and the pressure and everything, his obligations, it was just too much,” she said. “I’m just like, okay, that didn’t suit me, so I was able to move on. Younger Brittany would try to hold on and keep on, keep on, keep on, keep on. So I think it shows a lot of growth for me that I was like, ‘Okay, this isn’t working.’”
According to Brittany, she didn’t want the relationship to go public, but it “got blasted everywhere” when she wasn’t “ready.”
The third season of The Valley recently wrapped. According to reports, Scheana backed out, while Lala was more involved.
