Rewatched Bulworth for the first time in around 15 years this morning.
There is a reason Bulworth ended Beauty's, career, and it's the same reason the film is stuck on DVD despite earning a nomination for best screenplay. I don't know who the hell financed this, but it held World Championship belt for most scorching takedown of late-stage capitalism nearly 20 years (until Sorry to Bother You came along).
Is it perfect? No. Is some of its audacious, late 90's contextual, satire going to offend folks for different reasons than it did in 1998? Yes.
But damn was it an enjoyable ride.
