The VisionQuest series is shaping up to be one of the most interesting that the studio has ever put out. The project seems to stretch its cast across the MCU’s timeline, with characters from the original Iron Man making their return alongside new heroes that fans don’t even know enough from the comics to ask for in live-action.
And it seems the series still has a few surprises left up its sleeve. A rumor from MyTimeToShineHello reveals that VisionQuest is set to feature the return of Joe Locke’s Billy Kaplan, aka Wiccan. Given the show recently confirmed the actor playing Thomas Shephard, aka Speed, this marks the first time the two brothers will reunite following their resurrection.
How VisionQuest Sets Up The MCU
If this rumor is to be believed, it seems as though Wiccan’s return in the series won’t just be fan service. The scooper reveals that VisionQuest isn’t just going to set up a Champions project that has been long-rumored for the young heroes, but it will also tee up Wanda Maximoff’s return and some events in Secret Wars.
VisionQuest is certainly shaping up to be one absolutely packed series. And with the project still months away from release, there’s no telling what else the rumor mill dig up about what other MCU characters may return. However, one thing is for certain: it’ll be one absolutely wild ride.
