EXCLUSIVE: Morgan Freeman and Lori McCreary‘s Revelations Entertainment is teaming with Italian production company Publispei for the feature take of the Roberto Costantini penned novel The Perfect Wife.
The movie will be an Italian-U.S. co-production between Revelations and the Verdiana Bixio owned Publispei. Production is being planned for a 2026 start.
The Perfect Wife is published in Italy by Marsilio Editori, and the project will be adpated for the screen by Renato Sannio and Alessandro Aronadio.
Set in Rome, The Perfect Wife follows the murder of the husband of a celebrity couple, which is staged as a deadly sex game. Entangled is a brilliant but cynical detective and an ambitious young magistrate in a labyrinth of deception, privilege, and forbidden desire, where every perfect marriage hides a perfect lie.

Publispei was founded over 50 years ago and is now owned by producer Bixio, Publispei is one of the longest-standing entertainment production companies in Italy. Long-running series include I Cesaroni, Un Medico in Famiglia (A Family Doctor), and Tutti Pazzi per Amore (Crazy About Love).
