DWTS’ Prince Night Ends With a Stunning Elimination Ahead of Finale

The Prince Night of Dancing with the Stars‘ semi-finals week bade farewell to a beloved couple in a shocking elimination. The episode paid a glamorous tribute to the legendary singer and musician, Prince. However, the night ended on an emotional note with an unexpected exit.

Who got eliminated on Dancing With the Stars Prince Night?

The Prince Night ended with Whitney Leavitt getting eliminated along with her pro partner, Mark Ballas. The semi-finals week has now come to an end, with five couples making it to the finale.

Leavitt had been among the stronger contenders for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy this season. Thus, fans were sad to see The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star take her leave from the ballroom.

This week, each couple had to deliver two performances on songs by Prince. The contestants had to repeat a style that they had already tackled in the competition before, along with a brand-new style. For the “repeat” style, Leavitt and Ballas chose to perform a cha cha routine to “1999.” The couple’s second dance was a Viennese waltz to the Prince’s hit “Slow Love.”

Both the dances earned a near-perfect score of 29/30 from the judges’ panel. Needless to say, it was a neck-and-neck competition with the rest of the couples who had all scored incredible points. Despite a solid judge’s score, Leavitt and Ballas failed to make the cut in the final leaderboard, making it one of the most shocking exits of the season.

Leavitt bade her farewell on a positive note, saying, “I already feel like a winner. This show has meant the absolute world for me… I will forever be grateful for the friendships I made. Thank you so so much.”

Her pro partner Ballas also expressed his gratitude, stating, “I had the best time. I love this show.” (via E! News)

Following the shocking elimination, it’s down to five couples who will battle it out for the trophy on November 25, 2025. The couples who made it to the final week are:
