Jessi Ngatikaura put Demi Engemann and Bret Engemann‘s sex life on blast amid the The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars’ feud — seemingly answering a question fans have had since season 1: what does “fruity pebbles” in the bedroom mean?
“Since she wants to be petty and be an asshole, I think I am just going to go ahead and say that grandpa Bret likes to drink her piss like it is dirty soda,” Jessi, 33, alleged via Instagram Stories on Tuesday, November 25. “He gulps it down like water. And that is what fruity pebbles means.”
Jessi and Demi, 30, have been engaged in a social media back-and-forth since season 3 of the Hulu hit involved separate claims about their respective relationships with Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette. While Jessi has admitted to having an affair with Marciano, Demi has accused him of sexual misconduct. Earlier on Tuesday, a clip of Lisa Vanderpump defending Marciano to Access Hollywood made headlines, which prompted Demi to clap back.
“Jessi is somewhere punching air right now that Lisa is talking about me and not her,” Demi seemingly wrote.
Jessi included Demi’s reply on her video about “fruity pebbles.” Us Weekly has reached out to Demi for comment.
For those that need a refresher, season 1 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives featured a scene where star Whitney Leavitt pulled a prank by gifting Demi a box filled with fruity pebbles.
Viewers later learned that Demi and her husband, Bret, engaged in a sexual experience named after or with the cereal, which they didn’t want to explain on screen.
“There was a little bit of tension with my husband and I once it came out,” Demi exclusively told Us at the time. “Now he’s like, ‘Is anybody saying anything?’ It’s become a funny, fun thing that we are totally just having fun with it.”
Demi hinted there were no plans for the couple to elaborate. “We’re keeping it a mystery,” she added. “If people slowly start to figure it out, then, maybe, we’ll talk about it.I was not expecting it to go as crazy as it did. I thought it would be a little thing that a few people would catch onto. It’s every other story post that I’m tagged in. It is bizarre. It’s hilarious. We’re just keeping the mystery alive. It’s been fun.”
Demi and Bret’s romance first became a topic of discussion due to their 16-year age gap. It soon shifted to rumors of infidelity after Demi bonded with Marciano while filming season 2 of Vanderpump Villa, which premiered in April.
“Nothing happened with Marciano. At the expense of sounding rude, there wasn’t even a remote attraction to him. It sucks that women can’t be kind and friendly and even playful with men in this world without it being taken as like you’re open. I had a rock on my finger the entire time I was there,” she exclusively told Us in May. “I brought up my marriage multiple times and they were told that we were married women — so it sucks that we couldn’t just go and have a good time and that he couldn’t respect that.”
Demi ultimately accused Marciano of sexual misconduct, which he continues to deny.
“What I am trying to say is that Demi has made some crazy allegations about me,” Marciano wrote via Instagram in June. “But if that were the case, why are you following and DMing me and giving me your phone number and having a continued relationship after that? It doesn’t make sense to me whatsoever. All I am going to say is there’s so much more of this that will come out and honestly I can’t wait for you to see it.”
After sharing alleged messages between him and Demi, Marciano released a separate statement addressing her claims that he acted like a “predator.”
“I really do wish I could speak more on everything but like I said the WHOLE truth will come out soon! I want to make it absolutely clear that I do not condone s3xual assault in any way, shape, or form,” Marciano wrote via Instagram Story. “It’s a serious matter that should never be taken lightly! But at the same time I do not support or excuse anyone who falsely claims s3xual assault, as that harms real victims and undermines the gravity of the issue.”
Bret, for his part, defended his wife publicly.
“I’m so proud of this beautiful human. She’s the most incredible woman I will ever know,” he wrote via Instagram at the time “The amount of nonsense she’s had to endure at the hands of disingenuous and deceitful fools is astounding. She’s conducted herself like a graceful lioness amongst a bunch of yipping hyenas.”
