Willie Colon’s Billboard Chart History

Sabrina Carpenter took to Instagram to wax poetic following the conclusion of her 14-month Short n’ Sweet Tour, which encompassed the release of two different albums (last year’s Short n’ Sweet and this summer’s Man’s Best Friend) and definitively established her as an arena-level headliner around the world.

“This show really was everything I’ve dreamt of making since I was young,” she said of the experience, which was creative directed by Carpenter’s sister Sarah and Dannah Gottlieb and concluded Nov. 23 in Los Angeles. Its ingenious set design revolved around the interior of a retro-cool penthouse apartment, complete with a three-story window, two spiral staircases, a fireplace and a fur-covered, circular bed.

“This combined with a literal house that became a home of a stage [plus] working with the sweetest most talented hardworking souls every day, so much laughter and moments that felt straight out of a sitcom, has meant that I am feeling every bit of this ending and feeling it hard!,” she continued.

“You guys sold out every single show in some of my dream bucket list venues and reminded me each and every night why I love what I do and I’m so lucky to do it,” Carpenter said. “I truly think I’ll look back on this tour when I’m old and gray and wish I could step back into my go go boots just oneee more time.”

She went on to thank the audience for dressing up every night and “celebrating the good the bad, the funny and the sad. “This show would fall flat on its face without my audience. You accepted me 100% and I am so beyond thankful. Unlikely I’ll ever do a tour where I get to sing on a toilet again. I could never recreate it and I’ll never try! Lightning in a bottle!”

Per Carpenter, the tour raised more than $1.5 million for such organizations as The Jed Foundation, Best Friends Animal Society and Trans Law Center and “helped register tens of thousands of new voters” with Headcount.

“If you came to see a show, if you watched and cheered us on from afar or if you only tuned in for a three-second position, I cannot thank you enough,” she said. “I love you and I’m missing you already. Gotta do something with all these bodysuits lol.”

As previously reported, Carpenter will return to her acting roots by starring in and producing an as-yet-untitled musical inspired by the Lewis Carroll classic Alice in Wonderland. The project will be released by Universal Pictures and both directed and adapted for film by Lorene Scafaria. In September, she signed on to appear in a Muppet Show special helmed by Seth Rogen, which will come out sometime next year on Disney+.

Man’s Best Friend is nominated for six top honors at the upcoming Grammy Awards, after which Carpenter will return to the road for five South American festival appearances in March. She will co-headline the 2026 edition of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts festival with Karol G and Justin Bieber.
