A raccoon made a wild entrance into a liquor store, tearing the place up, smashing bottles, drinking liquor until it passed out near the toilet and got caught.
This wild scene went down at the Ashland ABC Store in Hanover County, Virginia. The little troublemaker pulled a classic break-in over the weekend, crashing through a ceiling tile and landing on the floor, as reported by the Associated Press.
Once inside, the furry bandit went all in, knocking over bottles of scotch and whiskey from the shelves, sending glass flying everywhere.
With expensive liquor pooling around it, the thirsty raccoon went to town, getting so tipsy that it staggered into the bathroom and finally flopped down near the porcelain throne to catch some Zs. And just for the record, it didn’t even throw up.
According to the AP, a store employee showed up Saturday morning and found the tipsy raccoon still snoozing in the bathroom.
The worker reached out to the Hanover County Animal Protection & Shelter, who picked up the raccoon to let it sober up before releasing it back into the wild.
