And after the slam dunk that was the Brainiac scoop, the insiders have set their eyes on yet another iconic character who is reportedly in the process of being cast: Wonder Woman.
Specifically, the rumor circuit predicted that Steve Trevor is preparing to be cast for Man of Tomorrow to debut alongside Wonder Woman. It’s certainly a bold shot to call, especially given how prominent Steve Trevor was in the prior incarnation of the DC Universe. Though with the movie still in its early stages, truly anything is possible.

Well, almost anything. James Gunn, as always, has taken to social media to debunk a popular rumor about the DC Universe. Responding to a post claiming that Steve Trevor will be joining the cast of Man of Tomorrow, the director confirmed that Wonder Woman’s love interest has no place in the upcoming film.
Notably, while James Gunn did debunk Steve Trevor appearing in Man of Tomorrow, he said nothing about Wonder Woman appearing in the film. Of course, that character wasn’t mentioned in the original post, but the fact he chose THAT post to respond to could mean some interesting things for the future of the DC Universe.
