The 2026 Golden Globe nominations will be revealed early Monday morning.
Marlon Wayans and Skye P. Marshall are set to announce this year’s nominees on Monday morning at 5:15 a.m. PT/8:15 a.m. ET. Eleven exclusive categories will be revealed on CBS Mornings at 5:30 a.m. PT/8:30 a.m. ET. You can bookmark this page and livestream the announcement right here when it starts Monday morning.
The livestream will additionally be available to watch on CBS News’ YouTube and TikTok channels.
Nominees will be revealed in 28 categories, including the brand-new best podcast category. The Golden Globes previously announced the podcasts eligible to be nominated, which include Call Her Daddy, Good Hang With Amy Poehler, The Ben Shapiro Show, The Joe Rogan Experience and The Mel Robbins Podcast, among a pool of 25 total shows.
Wayans has been touring his “Wild Child” comedy show and recently wrapped production on Scary Movie 6, which he wrote, produced and will star in. The White Chicks actor also appeared in Jordan Peele’s sports horror HIM this year. Marshall stars in the CBS’ drama Matlock opposite Kathy Bates, while previously acting in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and the first two seasons of The CW’s Black Lightning.
Film categories to be announced on Monday include best motion picture (drama; musical or comedy; animated; and non-English language) and cinematic and box office achievement, among others. Categories on the television side include best TV series (drama; musical or comedy; and limited series, anthology series, or motion picture made for television); best drama and comedy TV performance (for female and male actors and supporting actors); and best stand-up comedy performance on television.
Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award and Carol Burnett Award, respectively, at the inaugural “Golden Eve” primetime special, which airs Jan. 8. The Sex and the City star is being recognized with the honor for “her outstanding contributions to the television industry both in front of and behind the camera.”
Nikki Glaser is returning to host the Golden Globes on Jan. 11 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, airing live on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
