The DC Universe may soon have its Brainiac! The latest rumor suggests a new addition to the Man of Tomorrow cast may be just around the corner.

The rumor mill has been eating good the past few weeks. Ever since it was announced that Brainiac would be the main villain in Man of Tomorrow, every scooper under the sun has thrown their hat into the ring to “leak” who will be cast as the DC Universe’s next villain. This has resulted in some crazy good ideas, and just some flat out crazy ones.

However, it seems this speculation may soon be coming to an end. The rumor account MyTimeToShineHello recently posted that James Gunn will lock in the DC Universe’s Brainiac actor “any day now”. Which, if history is to be believed, means fans soon may find out who will join the Man of Tomorrow cast through the Hollywood trades.

Who Is Playing Brainiac In Man Of Tomorrow?

The most popular rumor regarding who could play Brainiac in the DC Universe is actually a shortlist. A report from Nexus Point News revealed that Sam Rockwell, Matt Smith, and Claes Bang are all frontrunners for join the cast of Man of Tomorrow. Fans seem generally happy with this list, so it wouldn’t much matter who James Gunn picked from them.

However, that was only the most popular rumor. Other reports suggest that everyone from Dave Bautista to Wallace Shawn are being considered for the role of Brainiac. And, as with everything in the DC Universe, nothing is settled until the contracts are signed. So unless James Gunn confirms it, the cast of Man of Tomorrow will remain up in the air.

Man of Tomorrow flies into theaters July 9th, 2027. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe!
