Mercedes “MJ” Javid reacted to ex Tommy Feight’s rants against her mother and Jeff Lewis. Meanwhile, Jeff himself also clapped back, hinting that MJ has “protected” Tommy “for years.”
Earlier this year, the Shahs of Sunset star filed for divorce from Tommy and asked for full custody of their son. Recently, Tommy recorded a solo episode of their podcast, Till the Dirt, where he shaded MJ’s mom as a grandmother and told Jeff to “shut the f**k up” about their custody situation.
On Jeff Lewis Live, MJ reacted to Tommy’s comments.
“I got a lot of messages about people saying that he … came for [Jeff], my mom, and [there were] all these people saying like, ‘Good for you, Tommy,’” said MJ, via @breakingtherulespodclips on Instagram. “So it’s really difficult for me to hear Tommy say that he doesn’t have a platform, while he’s talking on his platform. And saying that [Jeff] and I are dragging him, which we all know … he doesn’t listen to the show, he doesn’t have the Sirius app, but then he’ll sit there and say all these things that to me are really hurtful, because I’m actually not dragging him.”
Jeff then shared his own take.
“What I don’t understand is he says that he will support you and go to bat for you because you’re his son’s mother, but then turns around and calls you bats**t crazy and then goes after your mother,” said Jeff, speaking to MJ directly. “For what I’ve experienced — and I know that you are privy to the details, as is Reza Farahan — what I’ve experienced is that you … talk about little arguments here and there with him, but you have protected that guy for years.”
“You even said to me, ‘I don’t want to go here, I don’t want to talk about this, I don’t want to talk about that,’” he added. “And what’s upsetting to me is that I’m now seeing after his one-man show, Till the Dirt, where he came out and started saying all these things, [including] a few things about me, what he doesn’t understand is that there are so many things that you could have said about this guy and have chosen to stay quiet … out of respect for him, but also to protect your son.”
Jeff said he doesn’t know how “messy” their custody situation will be.
“[But] if you have to, I think you start talking,” he continued. “I mean, you’re going to do what you have to do. And I’m not necessarily saying on the radio, but with the attorneys, the attorney should know, you know. I mean, if this does become a custody battle, I think the attorney should really know all the details.”
