Cameron Winter has released the video for his beloved Heavy Metal song “Love Takes Miles.” The video, directed by Celia Rowlson-Hall, features Manchester By The Sea actor Lucas Hedges as a construction worker, dancing between work sites. The release follows Winter’s solo tour, where he’s performing several shows in support of 2024’s Heavy Metal.
One of those solo dates was last night’s Carnegie Hall show, where director Paul Thomas Anderson was seen filming behind Winter’s piano. Also in attendance were actor Benny Safdie, who starred in Anderson’s 2021 film Licorice Pizza and members of Phish and Khruangbin.

The video and solo shows come after a busy year for Winter as Geese’s frontman. Earlier this fall, Geese released their third full-length, Getting Killed. The band recently wrapped a headline tour throughout October and November, with support from Racing Mount Pleasant and Dove Ellis.
