Meghan King reunited with her three kids, including nine-year-old daughter Aspen and seven-year-old twin sons Hayes and Hart, over the weekend.
Weeks after the 41-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum lost custody to ex-husband Jim Edmonds, 55, after reportedly giving Hayes unprescribed Ritalin and asking staff at his school to do so as well, Meghan surfaced on social media, where she shared a photo of the children and revealed how they spent their time together.
“Went to the holiday mart and only spent money on this… we’re a claw loving clan!” Meghan wrote in one Instagram post, which featured her daughter and two sons trying to win a toy.
In another post, Meghan showed off a gingerbread house they had built.
“New Listing!” she wrote. “Christmas architecture new build on Candycane Lane. Innovative building materials and lighting fast craftsmanship (some corners may have been cut, see seller’s disclosure). Constructed by Aspen, Hayes, and Hart who work without blueprints and yet create the sweetest homes.”
After being targeted with an investigation by Child Protective Services (CPS), Meghan temporarily lost custody of Aspen, Hayes, and Hart before reaching a new agreement with Jim. Per the custody deal, via Us Weekly, Meghan would see the kids for a “few weeks” each summer as they went to live full-time in Tennessee with Jim and his wife, Kortnie O’Connor.
While Meghan has not publicly addressed the custody loss directly, she did share a telling message with her fans and followers on Instagram at the end of last week after the news broke.
“This morning the universe reminded me that maybe I don’t need to disguise the cracks, maybe instead I can fill them with color and purpose,” she wrote with a photo of cracked concrete filled with pieces of colorful stones or glasses.
