The trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has seemingly leaked! Fans are now scraping together a description of the footage as it circulates the net.
The trailer for Avengers: Doomsday was shaping up to be one of the most hype trailer reveals in cinematic history. The project is set to be the true deciding factor about whether or not the Multiverse Saga sinks or swims. And right as excitement reaches a fever pitch ahead of its release….a description of the footage leaks.
That’s right, just days before its international debut, the trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has found its way online. While we won’t be sharing the footage here for those who wish to experience it unsullied, a description of what was seen has been circulating around the net. And, to be frank, the contents have left fans mixed.
“The four ‘trailers’ aren’t really trailers they’re four short scenes, each focusing on a different character,” Scooper MyTimeToShineHello writes. “The one with Steve was originally supposed to be the third, but it looks like it’s going to be the first now.”
“It shows Steve riding home on a bike. He has a baby boy. There’s a tagline that reads ‘Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday’ followed by ‘December 2026’ and then a countdown.”
The Four Trailers Of Avengers: Doomsday
However, as anyone following the news likely knows, Avengers: Doomsday isn’t just going to play one trailer in front of Avatar: Fire and Ash; it’s going to play FOUR. Along with the description, the scooper also provided new details on what the other pieces of footage will be, suggesting the return of a few key characters from the MCU.
“Oh interesting, so they switched the order. Doom was supposed to go first. Okay, no reason for me to hide it then, or people would think I was BSing.”
“Since they changed the order, I’m ASSUMING Thor will be the second one now.”
With the reveal that there will likely be a trailer for Doctor Doom and Thor alongside Steve Rogers, it’s more likely than not that the fourth trailer will be for another founding Avenger. While the most likely candidate would be Hulk, it’s also possible that they feature Hawkeye, who is the only (living) member still in retirement.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters in December 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
