Kim Kardashian already took the L on the bar exam and instead of hiding from it, she’s letting the cameras all the way in.
Her law school journey? Yeah, it’s been hitting different and apparently hitting her right in the lower back. On a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim opened up about just how intense studying for the California Bar has been, revealing that the stress of it all didn’t just mess with her mentally, it took her out physically too. Sis said she straight-up injured herself while locked in study mode.
“I threw my back out, and it’s like, every time I think I get to another step, something pulls me back,” Kim admitted. The SKIMS founder didn’t hold back when talking about how overwhelming the moment felt. “There’s all these fing roadblocks, and I’m not a pity-party kind of girl, but last night, I was like, ‘Why the f is this happening? I can hardly walk.’”
That moment of pain and tears also gave her a deeper appreciation for her late father, legendary attorney Robert Kardashian. Watching his journey from the outside was one thing — living it is a whole different story.
“It’s really a lot. Now I really really get it,” she said. “I had no clue it was going be this emotional.”
As fans already know, Kim didn’t pass the July Bar exam, and honestly, that’s more common than people think. Plenty of brilliant minds don’t get it on the first try. Still, she didn’t let the setback define her.
She addressed it head-on in a post, writing: “Well_I’m not a lawyer yet, I just play a very well-dressed one on TV 23. Six years into this law journey, and I’m still all in until I pass the bar. No shortcuts, no giving up – just more studying and even more determination. Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way so far. Falling short isn’t failure – it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and that only motivates me even more. Let’s Go!!!!!!!!!!!”And if anyone thinks she’s done? Think again.
So yeah, the journey’s been painful, emotional, and humbling but Kim Kardashian is still in her bag, still studying, and still chasing that Esquire and thankfully she can take the bar as many times as she wants!
