Minaj walked out to her 2011 hit “Super Bass.” After greeting the crowd, waving, and blowing kisses, she and Kirk walked to their chairs in center stage. Kirk continued to conduct a Q&A with the Queens, New York rapper in front of thousands of college students, and more.
During the televised event, the rapper first began by addressing her online feud with California Governor Gavin Newsom. Kirk asked her about the beef and had her read back some of her tweets to Newsom. Finally, Kirk asked her to send one final message to Newsom.

Minaj also praised President Donald Trump and his current administration. She continued to talk about the controversy she continues to face after speaking so openly for President Trump and his administration. Minaj then shared what she believed to be struggles that today’s young women and men deal with. She addressed colorism for young women and told the “boys to be boys.”
While speaking with Kirk, Minaj also revealed why she decided to speak up and praise President Trump. It arrived after he threatened Nigeria’s government officials amid the persecution of Christians.

Minaj again thanked Trump and proceeded to talk about her own faith and relationship with God. The rapper also talked about her legacy and what she wants people to know moving forward. She declared: “It’s okay to change your mind.”
Despite Nicki Minaj’s declaration, her intentional alliance with President Donald Trump and his associates, JD Vance, Erika Kirk, etc., has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Especially, her fans, also known as The Barbz. Ever since she began aligning herself with Trump’s administration last month, many of fans, notably of color and/or of the LGBTQIA+ community, have continued to side-eye all of her actions.
