Is the Princess of Themyscira set to meet the Man of Tomorrow? A rumor reveals if James Gunn is trying to cast a Wonder Woman for the DC Universe.

One of the biggest mysteries fans have about Man of Tomorrow heading into the new year is the mysterious female heroine that James Gunn is looking to cast. There’s very little details about what types of actresses the director is looking for, leaving the playing field for the DC Universe wide open. However, some common points of speculation include Big Barda, Huntress, and Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman, in particular, is an interesting case because fans know James Gunn is looking to bring her into the DC Universe sooner rather than later. Ana Nogueira is currently writing the script for the heroine’s solo film. Given that she also wrote Supergirl, a character Gunn introduced in Superman, it wouldn’t be far-fetched that history could repeat itself with Man of Tomorrow.

Is Wonder Woman In Man Of Tomorrow?

Now it seems fans finally have some meat on the bone of speculation. During a recent edition of The Hot Mic, host John Rocha confirms that James Gunn is, in fact, currently looking to cast Wonder Woman in Man of Tomorrow. No details were provided on what type of actress the director is looking for, but it’ll likely be the first casting announcement to come out in the New Year for the DC Universe.

Perhaps more than most characters in the DC Universe, Wonder Woman has had an absolute deluge of fancast posts. While those like Adria Arjona and May Calamawy were early frontrunners, newer names have popped up thanks to this Man of Tomorrow rumor. These include Melissa Berrera, Katy O’Brian, and Odessa A’zion.

Man of Tomorrow flies into theaters July 9th, 2027. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the DC Universe!
