Commitment announced their forthcoming LP, Fear Of, out April 3 via Get Better Records. The Philly hardcore supergroup, which includes members of Soul Glo, Eye Flys, and Le Siren, recently announced their label signing alongside the release of “Hellraiser.”
“It’s a lot of me being disillusioned and disappointed by the traps we all fall into and my own self-righteousness and selfishness and greed and violence while trying to also believe in humanity,” vocalist Tati Salazar says of the album. “That there is something better in the future if we can all fight against the system.”

The announcement brings the release of “DOG POUND,” the album’s latest single. The video, written, directed, and edited by Salazar, features the entire band dressed in dog masks being chained and locked up inside a rundown building. Salazar, alongside her mastiff companion, is at the helm and putting the mutts in their place.
“Simply put, ‘Dog Pound’ is about revenge,” Salazar says. “It’s me giving myself permission to divulge my violent fantasies toward men that deserve such treatment. I’ve been sexualized and harassed by men since I was a literal child. I personally would love to see a world where the people subjected to the violence and fear of men match that energy and reflect it back to them. This song is for fans of Aileen Wuornos, ‘good for her’ horror films, and anyone that’s ready to bite back.”
