Mary Cosby Calls Out Lisa Barlow Over Past Hot-Mic Comment About Meredith in RHOSLC Reunion Preview

In a heated exchange on a Real Housewives of Salt Lake City reunion preview, Mary Cosby slammed Lisa Barlow for calling Meredith Marks a “wh**e” and taking “God’s name in vain.” At one point, Andy Cohen stepped in to defend Mary.

In a past season, Lisa in a hot-mic moment called Meredith (who was her good friend at the time) a “wh**e,” and claims she slept with “half of New York.” The statement caused a fracture in their friendship that lasted two years. Last season, however, the costars reconciled – shocking many fans. On the current season, Mary accused Meredith of not defending Lisa on a cast trip as castmates speculated on her lawsuits.

In a reunion preview, Andy read a fan comment: “Mary was right about Meredith not sticking up for Lisa on the yacht trip. Meredith, what’s your version of sticking up for your friend?”

Meredith then shared why she didn’t speak at length about the lawsuit at the time. “Because I am [Lisa’s] friend, I never read the suit,” said Meredith, via @therealhousewiveszone on Instagram. “I heard from Angie Katsanevas about it. So I couldn’t combat what they were saying about the suit because I didn’t know anything about it.”

At this point, Lisa came to Meredith’s defense: “Meredith and I are great friends, and I don’t think––”

“I mean, [you are] now,” said Mary.

“What did you just say, Mary?” asked Lisa.

“I said now you guys are good friends,” said Mary.

“No, we were always good friends, and we had a fallout for a minute,” said Lisa.

“[You were good friends] even when you called her a wh**e and said that she slept with half New York?” asked Mary.

“Do you want to go through the list of everything everybody’s called Meredith?” Lisa clapped back. “Or are you just going to fixate on mine? Because I am mother-f**king sick of hearing the same godd**n things on repeat.”

Mary then told her not to say “God’s name in vain.”

“I don’t normally do it, but I’m frustrated,” said Lisa.

“Well, you shouldn’t do it now,” said Mary.

At this point, Lisa asked why Mary recalled Lisa’s past quote. Andy then stepped in to defend Mary.

“Well, I mean, it was pretty significant,” said Andy. “It took you two years to be able to come back together.”

“But it was also four years ago,” said Meredith. “We’ve moved on, so why isn’t everyone else?”

Andy answered, “Because, I have to say as a viewer, it permeates my thoughts when I watch the two of you, that you two were able to get on the other side about it.”

Later on, Mary claimed that Lisa is “all about Lisa” – and “that’s it.”
