Will the Hulk finally make his return? A report gives fans answers about whether or not Mark Ruffalo will appear in Avengers: Doomsday later this year!
One of the most exciting pieces of superhero news fans got last year was the fact that the Hulk and Spider-Man will finally appear alongside each other outside of an Avengers project. Though with all the excitement around Mark Ruffalo making his return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, fans have seemingly forgotten to ask if he’ll be in Avengers: Doomsday.
There have been some conflicting reports about whether or not the Hulk will appear in Avengers: Doomsday. Alex Perez at the Cosmic Circus has suggested that Mark Ruffalo will return. However, Ruffalo himself has suggested that the Hulk may have been left on the back burner due to his own actions outside the silver screen.
Is Mark Ruffalo In Avengers: Doomsday?
Mark Ruffalo recently sat down with Empire Magazine to talk about his role in the upcoming film Crime 101. While the full interview is restricted to their physical magazine, outlets such as ComicBookMovie.com have revealed that the article itself seems to confirm that the Hulk won’t return in Avengers: Doomsday.
Of course, it’s possible that the article got its intel from Mark Ruffalo, who himself would obviously have a motive in lying to the outlet about whether or not he’s in Avengers: Doomsday. Though given Hulk is already set to return to theaters later this year, it’s possible that Marvel left him out for this project in order to give fans some time between appearances.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theaters in December 2026. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
