Lala Kent seemingly clapped back at Scheana Shay after her recent comments about their feud. The Vanderpump Rules star – who joined The Valley – also opened up about her upcoming breast reconstruction surgery.
Last week, Scheana announced on her podcast that she and Lala were no longer friends, and said she’s unwilling to meet up with her so their daughters can have playdates. Though the stars began feuding last year, the details are somewhat unclear.
On her Untraditionally Lala podcast, Lala compared Ashley Tisdale’s public mom-group drama to an experience in her own life – seemingly calling out Scheana.
“Without naming names, I used to have a friend who took s**t to the streets,” said Lala, via @byewighellodrama on Instagram. “It never ends well when it comes to your mom group. Keep it in the mom group. Don’t publish an article about it.”
“If you need to break up with them, great, but I feel like when the kids are involved, like, you have to take the high road,” Lala added. “I know that in this day and age, none of us can have a thought without posting it, talking about it. I know this got a lot of pickup, but it’s like, why cause the headache when the children are involved?”
Around the same time, Lala addressed her upcoming surgery.
“Guys, I’m getting new boobs!” said the star on her podcast, via BravoTV. “Yes, I got them done in 2022, and I got them done by amazing doctors. I loved them.”
But Lala shared that she wasn’t happy with her physical changes after having her second daughter.
“Sosa wreaked havoc on my body. Between my stomach that’s a little loosey goosey, depending on the way I move…” Lala stated. “My body created life. Love that part. But my boobs, my right one is concaved on one side and is working its way up to the collarbone.”
She then referenced her October interview with plastic surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow and his wife, Heather Dubrow, from the Real Housewives of Orange County.
“[During the interview] we talked about how it’s ‘capsular contracture,’ which means your body starts to fight off the implant,” said Lala. “And I know you guys, most of you are gonna be like, ‘Then you shouldn’t have implants.’ I’m sorry. I refuse to have my nipples down to my belly button, OK?”
She also explained that the surgery will be performed by a doctor who specializes in this condition.
“A lot of her patients, though, have had double mastectomies and are breast cancer survivors. She’s world-renowned,” said the mother-of-two. “They’re basically doing reconstructive surgery. I’m gonna go in, and they’re going to use technology to show what size would look best. But ultimately, this is something that I have to get done right. The longer I keep these implants in, the right one is going to continue to build scar tissue; it’s going to continue to push towards the center of my chest and up towards my collarbone.”
“I’m very excited because my boobs are not something — again they fed two babies, I’m very happy about that — but I just don’t feel confident with them,” Lala added. “And the other side is, you know, the health concern. So I’m very excited to get my new boobs.”
