Toosii Announces Decision To Step Away From Syracuse University Football Team
On Wednesday (January 20), Toosii sparked major reaction online after announcing on X (formerly Twitter) that he would no longer play for the Syracuse University football team. “No longer committed to the University of Syracuse… Stay tuned. 🎞️ All Glory To God,” he wrote in a post on X.
Following Toosii’s tweet, Syracuse University head football coach Fran Brown addressed the situation in a video with Cuse Sports Talk. Brown said Toosii is most likely not going to play on the team, but could still have the opportunity to walk on. “I’m willing to give Toosii a shot to live out his dream,” Brown said. However, he explains that with more commitments filling the roster, it’s uncertain whether he will join the team.
