Kyle Cooke and Carl Radke recently spoke out about their physical encounter on the 10th season of Summer House.
Ahead of next week’s premiere, Carl, 40, noted that there was a “build up” between him and Kyle, 43, throughout the summer. Carl also addressed his “flirtation” with newbie Bailey Taylor and spoke of getting “closure” with Lindsay Hubbard, 39. In addition, Jesse Solomon, 32, and West Wilson, 31, commented on their love triangle with Ciara Miller, 30, and Lindsay admitted to being “friendly” with Carl.
“It’s a roller-coaster. [The dinner] starts light and fun. Something gets brought up, then it starts getting tense, then it gets light again …. Then, it starts getting crazy,” Carl explained to Us Weekly on January 23.
According to Jesse, the fight stemmed from “Kyle putting his foot in his mouth.”
“It was a very unpredictable outburst,” Kyle noted. “It was a microcosm of how I was feeling for almost the entire summer, where I don’t want people picking sides, I want friends to understand where I’m coming from. I felt misunderstood.”
As he feuded with Kyle, Carl got to know Bailey, the creator of It Girl, who was coming off a breakup.
“I really enjoyed Bailey,” he shared. “Bailey, I really had some fun with which you’ll see. We had a little bit of flirtation going on.”
As for his relationship with Lindsay, Carl said that he was “pleasantly pleased” by an encounter they had at BravoCon in November.
“During the first 10 minutes of being [at BravoCon], I walked into one of the rooms, Kyle and [Amanda Batula] were there, Lindsay was there. I was with Jesse and West, and I walked over to Lindsay and she gave me a hug. And I looked over to Kyle and I was like, ‘She gave me a hug!’” Carl recalled. “We had a friendship and a bond before we were together. … And for this past summer, which you’ll watch, it’s been really nice. You’ll see us, I think, get closer and more cordial and even get some more closure, perhaps.”
Lindsay, too, spoke of being “friendly.”
“I’m not a very black-and-white person. I kind of live in a gray area, and that’s probably the dynamic of just being on reality TV for a decade, but I don’t have the opportunity to live in a very black-and-white world as most people in the civilian world do. And I would say I am friendly with Carl,” she confirmed. “There is a moment where things I think shift for Carl and I, where you’ll see why maybe I will consider us friendly in this present moment in time.“
According to Lindsay, she only filmed three weekends of the summer due to her new role as a mom to one-year-old daughter Gemma, whom she welcomed in December 2024 with now-ex-boyfriend Turner Kufe.
“I think it was, like, half guiding [the newbies], and then half stirring the pot. And then half of that stirring the pot was on accident, and the other half of the stirring the pot was on purpose,” she revealed.
Meanwhile, West spoke of a positive progression with former flame Ciara.
“There are moments where we aren’t mortal enemies anymore,” he shared, adding that season 10 featured a dynamic “a melting pot of emotions.”
“[But] don’t know how this is going to shake out … [It] can seem romantic … it’s weird, but fun,” he teased, as Lindsay noted that while there was always something between Ciara and West, Jesse “threw a wrench in that.”
Then, after Jesse confirmed there was “no beef” between him and West, describing his relationship with Ciara as just “fun and flirty,” Amanda added, “There’s a lot more to it than what was even touched on in the trailer.”
Summer House season 10 premieres on Tuesday, February 3, at 8/7c on Bravo.
