Apple TV has renewed Shrinking for a Season 4. The news comes a day ahead of the launch of Season 3 with an hour-long first episode.
The beloved comedy series stars Emmy nominees Jason Segel and Harrison Ford. Core cast members also include Christa Miller, Emmy nominee Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Emmy nominee Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley. Season 3 contains 11 episodes, which will roll out every Wednesday through April 8, 2026.
The third season of the show centered around Segel’s grieving therapist, Jimmy, will focus on the theme of moving forward, not just for him but for his colleagues Paul Rhoades (Ford), Gaby (Willaims) and their whole friend group of neighbors, patients and more.
In addition to the ensemble cast, Shrinking Season 3 welcomes back guest stars Brett Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr., Wendie Malick and Cobie Smulders, along with new additions Jeff Daniels and activist Michael J. Fox as well as Candice Bergen, Sherry Cola, and Isabella Gomez.

Shrinking is produced for Apple TV by Warner Bros. Television, where Lawrence and Goldstein are under overall deals along with Lawrence’s Doozer Productions. Lawrence, Segel, Goldstein, Neil Goldman, James Ponsoldt, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Randall Winston, Rachna Fruchbom, Brian Gallivan, Ashley Nicole Black and Bill Posley executive produce.

The series marks the third partnership for Apple, Lawrence and Warner Bros. Television, alongside the Emmy-winning sports comedy Ted Lasso and Vince Vaugn-starring comedy series Bad Monkey. The series also marks the latest collaboration for Apple TV and Goldstein following the Apple Original Film All of You, which is now streaming globally on Apple TV. In addition to having previously collaborated with Apple TV in a starring role in Apple Original Films’ The Sky is Everywhere, Segel also serves as star, co-writer and producer of the upcoming Apple Original Film Sponsor.
Lawrence also has the reboot of medical series Scrubs premiering at the end of February and Rooster starring Steve Carell and Charly Clive coming out in March.
