RHONY OGs Return to TV in E!’s The Golden Life as They Engage in “Non-Stop Hijinks,” Dating, & “Unresolved Drama”

The Real Housewives of New York City OGs are heading back to television — but not on the network on which they gained fame.

Nearly three years after the Bravo reality series was rebooted with an all-new cast, Ramona Singer, 69, Jill Zarin, 62, Sonja Morgan, 62, Luann de Lesseps, 60, and Kelly Bensimon, 57, are trading the Big Apple for Palm Beach, Florida, where they will start fresh, while, of course, engaging in their usual shenanigans and adressing “unresolved drama.”

“It’s really happening!” Kelly declares in a clip shared by E! on Instagram on February 3.

“We’re back, darlings!” says Luann.

“The OGs of New York City are back,” adds Jill.

Then, after Sonja confirms they’ve “packed [their] bags and headed to Florida,” the rest of the ladies reveal there will be “more brunching,” “munching,” “dancing,” and, adds Ramona, “turtle time with my favorite girls.”

“You’ve missed us,” Ramona notes.

“But we’ve missed you so much more,” Kelly replies.

“I cannot wait for you to join us girls for The Golden Life,” Sonja concludes.

News of the impending series was first shared earlier this week. However, it wasn’t until Tuesday that E! officially confirmed the upcoming show.

“Bound by decades of shared history, fallouts and friendship, this fan-favorite group of New Yorkers are starting fresh together in the Sunshine State,” explains a description of the series, shared by E! News on February 3. “In this new ‘golden’ era of life, the longtime friends are thriving in and around Palm Beach with fabulous second homes and a bustling social scene. With their signature humor and non-stop hijinks, the series will follow the group as they navigate dating, family, and career milestones.”

“Though skies are bright in Florida, unresolved drama looms as they reconnect after years of highs and lows,” it adds.

Following the confirmation of The Golden Life, Val Boreland, President of Entertainment, VERSANT, shared a statement.

“We’re thrilled to welcome reality TV royalty to E! for a reunion fans have been waiting for,” she said. “The energy within this group has always been electric and we’re excited to watch it unfold in a new chapter of life by the beach.”

No word yet on a premiere date for The Golden Life.
