Nic Vansteenberghe loves him some Olandria Carthen! The Love Island star and model hit the Grammys red carpet alongside TikTok megastar Markell Washington and opened up about his relationship with his Bama Barbie boo.
Olandria was noticeably absent from the awards show, and Nic explained that his booked-and-busy bae couldn’t make it simply because she was working, as usual. Markell jumped in to clarify that our girl is away “standing on business.”
When asked what it feels like to experience so much success alongside her, Nic shared, “To come up with a partner like her has been the greatest blessing this year.” Markell added that the two are the “baddest couple to do it,” and rightfully so.
With Valentine’s Day approaching, we asked Nic about his plans. He said the day will include him attending the NBA Celebrity Basketball Game, with Olandria meeting up with him afterward so they can do something special together. Still, Nic made it clear that for him, romance doesn’t stop on February 14, saying, “It’s Valentine’s Day every day.”

Now aside from his beautiful girl who just signed with United Talent Agency, Nic also spread some of that love to Markell who also has a lot to celebrate!
Speaking with Hollywood Unlocked, Markell shared how grateful he was to be at the Grammys, calling it something he had “manifested.”
Nick then spoke highly of his friend, saying, “I had a conversation with Markell on the car ride over and I told him he’s a superstar. 2026 is not just gonna be my year, but our year.”
