The Straw Hat crew is back on the open seas, and the newly released trailer for One Piece Season 2 makes it clear that the adventure is about to get even bigger, wilder, and more dangerous.
The new 3-minute preview is packed with chaos, color, and the kind of unhinged fun that made Season 1 such a hit with fans of the manga, anime, and newcomers.
The trailer follows Monkey D. Luffy, played by Iñaki Godoy, alongside his loyal crew as they finally set their sights on the Grand Line. Nami (Emily Rudd), Zoro (Mackenyu), Sanji (Taz Skylar), and Usopp (Jacob Romero) are all along for the ride, which immediately goes sideways when the crew slams into a waterfall and crash lands on a mysterious island that sure looks like Cactus Island.
From there, it’s one escalating problem after another, including dinosaurs, towering giants, and a collection of strange new villains who seem very invested in stopping pirates before they can truly enter the Grand Line.
All of this plays out to the surprisingly perfect needle drop of “Come Sail Away” by Styx, giving the whole trailer a playful, high-energy vibe that leans hard into the series’ sense of adventure and humor.
One standout is our first extended look at Mr. 3, brought to life by David Dastmalchian. The Baroque Works villain looks every bit as eccentric as fans hoped, complete with his wax-based powers and offbeat personality.
And yes, for anyone wondering, Buggy the Clown hasn’t been forgotten. Jeff Ward pops back up as the fan-favorite menace, even if it’s just a quick tease that promises more trouble ahead.
Season 2 also opens the door to a wave of major characters straight from the manga and anime. Tony Tony Chopper finally makes his live-action debut, voiced by Mikaela Long, while Callum Kerr steps in as the cigar-chomping Marine Smoker. Giants enter the mix too, with Brendan Murray appearing as Brogy.
Baroque Works is fully assembling this season, and the cast is stacked with memorable faces. Charithra Chandran plays Miss Wednesday, Lera Abova takes on Nico Robin aka Miss All Sunday, Yonda Thomas appears as Igaram, Camrus Johnson is Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn plays Miss Valentine, and Sophia Ann Caruso rounds things out as Miss Goldenweek.
If that wasn’t enough to get fans hyped, production on Season 3 already kicked off in November 2025, which is a fast turnaround following the official renewal announcement in August. That kind of momentum suggests Netflix is fully committed to keeping this pirate ship sailing.
One Piece Season 2 looks like it’s going to be a blast, and it officially premieres on Netflix on March 10!
