Lanterns finally has an official logo! Fans are now speculating that promotion for the DC Universe’s Green Lantern series may soon kick off (possibly with a trailer)!
Things have gone quiet on the Lanterns front ever since it was announced that the series had been delayed from an early 2026 release to late summer. This has left many DC Universe fans starved for information about the project that once seemed so close. Despite the Green Lantern project being perhaps the biggest show due out from the franchise this year, there hasn’t even been an official teaser, let alone a trailer.
However, hope now seems to be renewed that – if not a trailer – SOMETHING about Lanterns would be coming soon. This is because the official logo for the Green Lantern series has been revealed. And while it’s nothing special, it does show that the team behind the DC Universe is ready to distribute some form of marketing material relating to the project.
When Will The Lanterns Trailer Release?
With a logo, many might expect that a trailer is right around the corner. However, it’s still winter right now. If Lanterns is truly set to come out at the end of summer, the series would likely drop around August. This means that fans likely shouldn’t expect footage showcasing the Green Lantern corps. until at least May (and that’s being generous).
So it’s possible that this logo could just be the DC Universe team preemptively getting marketing materials ready for an HBO sizzle reel. Then again, even if there’s no trailer, it’s possible something like a poster gets revealed for Lanterns. After all, the series was delayed pretty late into the game. It’s possible that Green Lantern merch will start to hit shelves with spoilers, and the marketing team wants to get ahead by revealing things on their own terms.
