Teddi Mellencamp Opens Up About Losing Memories Amid Cancer Battle, Admits She’s “Sad and Lonely”

Teddi Mellencamp broke down while discussing her cancer journey on the latest episode of her shared podcast with Tamra Judge.

Ahead of an immunotherapy appointment, which the 44-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum was dreading, she joined Tamra, 58, on their show, where she admitted that she was feeling “sad and lonely” after losing some of her memories amid her health battle.

“I just feel really sad and lonely. It’s been a year since all of this happened, and I know I should be so grateful, but I don’t even have my memories from before. Like, I can’t even remember the year and a half before,” Teddi shared on the February 18 episode of Two Ts in a Pod.

Then, after Teddi said she missed her family, Tamra asked if she was referring to her past marriage to Edwin Arroyave, 48, whom she split from in late 2024, just months before she was diagnosed with brain cancer.

“I miss just having, like, a family unit and doing things together as a family,” Teddi clarified.

According to Teddi, she thought that she would be in better health by this point in her journey.

“It’s so bizarre because I think that it happened so quick, and I know that I don’t want to talk about this over and over again, but I think I just, because I didn’t expect it to happen … then this happened, and in the past year I just thought I was going to be better than I am now,” she admitted. 

Looking ahead to her immunotherapy appointment, Teddi said she feared she’d have to get a port due to her veins being worn out from past treatments. 

“I’m, like, dreading it because they can’t find my veins anymore and I don’t want to have to get a port … It’s because they’ve done it so many times,” she explained. 

“I really wanted to be in a better place now, and it’s weird. I can’t even plan little things that I used to love to do,” she continued. “My kids have asked me three times, ‘What are we doing for spring break?’ And, like, I can’t even plan it.”

Teddi Mellencamp was featured in a full-time role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills from season eight to season 10.
