The co-founder of global fashion retailer ASOS has died after reportedly falling from a high-rise balcony in Pattaya, Thailand.
According to the Daily Mail, Griffiths,58, fell from the 17th floor of his condominium. Thai authorities stated there were no visible signs of a disturbance inside the apartment. However, officials have not ruled out foul play. Forensic testing is still pending. His official cause of death will not be confirmed until a post-mortem examination is completed. Reports indicate that the process could take months.

Griffiths helped launch ASOS in 2000 alongside Nick Robertson and Andrew Regan.ASOS became one of the UK’s most recognized digital fashion brands, expanding internationally and reshaping how younger shoppers bought clothes online. Griffiths remained with the company until 2005 before stepping away from day-to-day operations.
Before his death, Griffiths was reportedly involved in legal disputes connected to his ex-wife. Reports claim she accused him of falsifying documents to sell land and company shares without her knowledge. He was allegedly arrested and questioned last year over those claims. He was released after denying the allegations.
In a separate dispute, she was accused of stealing approximately $672,000 from a company they had started together. None of those matters had been publicly resolved at the time of his death.
Griffiths moved to Thailand in 2007. He is survived by three children from his first marriage and a son from his second marriage.
