The Traitors season 4 star Rob Rausch completely charmed all of his costars — and viewers — on his way to winning the show’s $220,800 grand prize.
The snake wrangler and influencer first made a splash on reality TV as one of the Casa Amor boys on Love Island season 5. His dry humor and Southern drawl proved to be so popular with fans that he was brought back as a full islander in Love Island season 6.
Rob went through six couplings during his 30-day stay in the Love Island villa on the second time around, but his love triangle with Leah Kateb and Andrea Carmona generated the most chatter via social media. In a July 2024 interview on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Rausch had a surprisingly self-aware assessment when host Alex Cooper asked what Love Island viewers thought of him.
“Basically, [they say] I’m a toxic gaslighter, but I’m hot enough that it doesn’t matter,” he quipped.

In a profile for New York Magazine’s The Cut, Rob revealed that he was busy working on a mysterious woodworking project for his new girlfriend. However, the reality star continued to keep his partner’s identity private “for now.”

In the season 4 finale, Maura had a hilariously candid reaction when she found out that Rob was a traitor all along and had stolen the grand prize from her.
“You’re never going to have a girlfriend after this — you’re such a good liar,” she bluntly told Rob at the firepit.

Asked if there was ever a moment where she and Rob were “crushing on each other” in the castle, Maura insisted: “A lot of people in the whole castle were saying it to us … We were genuinely just friends. That is the truth!”
“We never did anything,” Rob agreed.
Maura went even further by claiming that she and Rob never even “had a flirt” in the castle, which led to him slightly side-eyeing her.
“I feel like we probably flirted a little bit,” Rob replied.
Maura set the record straight once and for all while speaking exclusively to Us Weekly for a cover story on the Traitors finale.
“I’m not gonna ruin it for the viewers, but no, nothing ever happened between me and Rob,” she insisted. “I genuinely look at Rob like a brother. Literally nothing ever happened.”

She went, “People online are saying I’m ‘d***matized.’ Believe me, you would know if I was d***matized. If they think that’s me flirting, then they do not know me and they have never watched me on Love Island.”
Rob backed up Maura’s explanation and emphatically told Us: “We did not [hook up], and we will not. We are just friends. I’m touching the chair [in that viral video], not her leg!”
The two remain friendly even after Rob’s traitorous twist in the season 4 finale, partially because he offered to buy Maura a Birkin handbag as a consolation prize.
“He told me he’s going to get me a gift, which is going to be a Birkin handbag. So when he gets that, then he’s fully forgiven,” Maura revealed to Us. “For me, a girl that has not watched Traitors, not one episode of Traitors, I got to the finale, and yeah, I didn’t win, but I got to wear all my outfits. And if I get that Birkin handbag from Rob, then for me, I have won. That’s all I need.”
