Looks like the back-and-forth between Ray J and Kim Kardashian is nowhere near cooling off. And this time? It’s getting real spicy.
As previously reported, Kim and her mama Kris Jenner hit Ray J with a defamation lawsuit back in October. Ray wasn’t about to just sit there though. He clapped right back with a countersuit, saying they violated a settlement agreement that supposedly bars everybody involved from speaking on that infamous tape situation. On top of that, he’s asking the court to toss their lawsuit out altogether. As of now, both cases are still playing out.
In earlier court documents, Kim broke down her concerns about her path to becoming a lawyer. She said,
“It is my understanding that, before becoming an attorney, the California State Bar evaluates moral character through a comprehensive background investigation, including investigation of allegations of criminal misconduct or dishonesty.” She added, “I’m worried that I would need to address these entirely false accusations and that they might be taken seriously.”
Sis basically said she doesn’t want any drama messing up her legal dreams. But Ray J? Oh, he wasn’t feeling that. According to court docs obtained by TMZ, Ray J pushed back hard at Kim’s suggestion that his comments, including claims about her and Kris being investigated by the feds, could somehow wreck her chances of getting licensed. Ray J said … “For this ever to be an issue, Kardashian must first pass the bar exam, something she admittedly has not yet done.”

But he didn’t stop there either. He continued,
“Regardless, it is unclear why vague, third-party allegations from [an interview] and a Twitch stream could ever ‘jeopardize’ her legal career. It would be the underlying wrongful conduct, none of which [Kim and Kris have] denied.”
In other words, Ray J is saying the lawsuit makes zero sense. He argues that while Kim and Kris deny knowing anything about a federal investigation, they never actually denied committing racketeering in their sworn court declarations.
Ray J is standing firm in asking the judge to throw the whole case out. Meanwhile, Kim and Kris are holding their ground too.
