Rihanna’s home was targeted by a woman who fired multiple shots from a vehicle towards the Los Angeles property. That individual is now in custody, and thankfully, Rihanna is ok.
According to TMZ, law enforcement say a woman around 30 years of age pulled up to the home and fired shots. Rihanna was inside of the property at the time, but was not physically harmed. The publication can’t confirm if her partner, A$AP Rocky, or their children, RZA, Riot and Rocki, were home during the shooting.
Police arrived to the scene quickly and were able to apprehend the shooter. She was taken without further incident. At the time of publishing, law enforcement were investigating the motive behind the attack.
The star shares the colonial-style mansion with A$AP, worth a reported $13.8 million, which is in a secluded area, which should offer their family privacy.
According to Page Six, the home was built in the 1930s. It’s since expanded to be nearly 22,000 square feet following a number of renovations. She purchased the sprawling home in 2021.
One can only imagine what Rihanna went through and how she’s coping right now, whether she was there with family or on her own. We’re relieved to hear she’s safe and are thinking of her after such a frightening experience.
