One Piece Season 2 holds a 100 percent Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes based on 19 critic reviews. The audience Popcornmeter shows a 96 percent rating from more than 500 verified ratings.
The first season of the series holds an 86 percent Tomatometer score from 63 critic reviews and a 95 percent audience score from more than 10,000 ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

Critics also highlighted narrative depth and expanding world-building.

A Geek Community rated the season 9.5 out of 10 and wrote it is “even bolder than its predecessor, raising the stakes with more ambitious action sequences and political intrigue.” David Caballero of Collider rated it 9 out of 10 and stated the series has “everything going for it to become one of Netflix’s all-time best originals.”
