On this episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, a dinner party fractures friendships in such a way that no one knows whether they can ever recover from what was said and what was done. Dorit‘s issues with Kyle are no closer to being resolved, and Erika becomes the target of Dorit’s stress. Rachel hosts a Studio 54 birthday party, bringing everyone together once again.
“Quit riding my a*s all the f*cking time.” So things are going well with Kyle and Dorit… not. Kyle cannot handle that Dorit focuses all her anger on her when Bozoma was also talking rather freely about Dorit’s finances. Boz admits that she is concerned and points out that she believes Kyle is also genuinely concerned about Dorit. Boz apologizes to Dorit, and of course, Dorit easily accepts.
Kyle feels like Dorit “lives and breathes” to have a problem with her. Dorit wonders if Kyle thinks it’s okay to bully her, but Kyle is aghast. Kyle keeps reminding Dorit that everyone thinks the same thing, but Rachel realizes that once everyone gets pulled in, the issue gets more exacerbated.
Dorit is stuck on the word “erratic” and reminds the group that she is open about the overwhelming issues in her life. She wants Kyle to give her some grace, and Kyle makes it clear that they always give Dorit grace, particularly when she is late to a flight (and doesn’t apologize). When Dorit gives her pointed apologies to the table, she seemingly skips over Amanda until the others remind Dorit that Amanda is there, too.
Dorit is sick of Kyle making big deals out of nothing, but Kyle is not letting up. When Sutton tries to make excuses for Dorit, Kyle “deflects” and reminds Dorit that Sutton ALSO had a lot to say about Dorit’s finances.
Erika brings up Dorit’s comment when she said, “I could have ended Kyle.” Dorit plays dumb, and Kyle wonders what type of friend talks this way. Just because Kyle did not jump on the I-hate-PK-bandwagon doesn’t mean Kyle can be Dorit’s scapegoat. Kyle makes it very clear that if Dorit keeps looking for the negative, they do not need to be friends. Kyle is fed up with the fighting and understands that friendship should not be this much work.
Erika feels like Dorit is really guarded right now, and everything she is doing feels very defensive. She reminds Dorit that the group supports her, but getting that “grace” she yearns for is clearly not cutting it.
In Dorit’s eyes, Boz has shown the most support to her, and of course, this sets Erika and Kyle off. The flashbacks show Erika coming to Dorit’s aid time and time again. An angry Erika decides to go there, and she tells Dorit, “I don’t owe you anything other than the truth, and we don’t like [you being late].” Erika lets Dorit know that her apologies don’t land anymore, and she wants everyone to speak up about Dorit’s lateness. Sutton claims that this may be a sign of “divorce behavior,” and she is slow to share her opinion.
A frustrated Erika points out that every person in the group is going through a hard time. When Dorit wonders aloud if Erika is going through a tough time, Erika unleashes, considering all of the legal issues she is wrapped up in. She tells Dorit that Dorit will never tell her to shut up ever again, and in turn, Dorit calls Erika a “c*nt.”
Erika reminds Dorit that she can get “c*nty” and calls Dorit an “a*shole and a c*nt.” Erika wonders if Dorit thinks this season and last season’s looks are good for her, but Dorit promises she is not coming from that place.
Dorit is claiming that Erika does not open up to her and that she only knows about Erika’s problems from the tabloids. Erika believes that Dorit thinks this is a competition of whose life is worse, and of course, Dorit walks away from the table, claiming she learned she no longer has to deal with people like that in her life. Whilst this fight occurs, Rachel is busy applying her lipstick. LOL.
Kathy goes after Dorit, which seems like an odd choice, and Dorit lets Kathy know that she doesn’t love anyone who talks to her the way Erika did. Erika is very clearly rocked by this fight with Dorit, while Dorit yells to Kathy about this being the end of the road with Erika. No one knows what to say to an emotional Erika. Dorit’s stress is clearly making these friendships fall apart, but Dorit still believes that Kyle’s “entire mission was to have the whole group turn against her.”
Four days later, the group is back in Beverly Hills, and Dorit is busy shooting the cover of her book… except she’s not feeling the pictures. Lucky for her, Rachel and Boz come to the rescue to help direct and hype her up. Once they get the shot, the ladies sit down to recap the Italy trip.
Dorit is sick of hearing that everyone thinks she is “spinning out,” and it feels more like gossip than help. Dorit feels like there was an unprovoked attack with Erika, and now, it’s clear that Erika’s loyalties lie with Kyle. In a change of conversation, Rachel talks about her upcoming birthday and how she is planning to celebrate.
Rachel’s son is getting hyped for his first job. Despite coming from a privileged life, Rachel refuses to raise spoiled brats. Rachel reminds us that her first job was at 15, something she wants her kids to learn. Her son lets Rachel know that things with his dad are “fine,” despite what occurred while she was in Italy.
Boz and Keely meet her daughter at a real estate listing. This home is selling for upwards of $5 million. House hunting is a step toward Boz’s future with Keely, but she is just waiting (im)patiently for that ring…
Rachel preps for her Studio 54 birthday party, but she refuses to admit her true age to anyone. Loving Rachel’s son at the door, checking to be sure only invited guests enter the party. On the way over, Dorit shares with Boz that she is not quite ready for this fight to continue.
Dorit is sick of everyone falling in line with Kyle. She calls the “minions” a disappointment as Rachel braces for whatever may come from this party.
