Howard Stern and his wife, Beth Stern‘s former executive assistant is back for some reparations!
The American broadcaster and his wife have been dragged to court by their former staff, accusing them of creating an unhealthy work space for her alongside a suspicious NDA.
Howard Stern had been through a host of court cases in the past and had come out victorious in some, such as the 2018 lawsuit over the broadcast of a private call between a tax agent and a private citizen.
Howard Stern’s Former Staff Shared Her Reasons For Leaving The Position

The former assistant, identified as Leslie Kuhn, dragged the company to a New York court, alleging that when she worked with the couple as their executive assistant, she had to move into their 20,000-square-foot Southampton home. During her time on the property, she claimed the couple overburdened her with work commitments, including managing home staff, scheduling, completing payroll, and overseeing general household operations.
However, her sojourn with the couple was cut short after two years due to a hostile work environment created by “irresponsible and untenable animal rescue and fostering operations occurring on-site, and massively disorganized and questionable business operations.” TMZ reported that for years, Beth and Howard have declared their burning passion for rescuing cats, with a track record of fostering more than 900 cats in their home within 5 years.
Leslie Kuhn Recalled Receiving An NDA As Part Of The Separation Agreement

The former executive assistant noted that a law firm also representing the couple presented her with a separation agreement containing a very secure NDA. According to her, the firm made it appear that the non-disclosure agreement had been signed years earlier, when she began working at their home.
Kuhn is now claiming that the agreement was signed before she was interviewed. She added that the signature in the document carries just a typewritten version of her name in the “same font, style, and size used to identify the parties’ names in the recitals of the agreement.”
The former executive assistant has asked the court to declare the NDA unenforceable, so she can release her employment details to the couple and address any accusations that may come her way from Howard and Beth.
Howard Stern Is Not A Novice To Lawsuits

In 2013, a New York state appeals court threw out Howard’s request to bring up a $330 million lawsuit, which was filed against Sirius XM Radio Inc. for not paying him stock awards he was due to receive. As noted by Reuters, the appeals court judge thrashed out the lawsuit, citing claims that the 2004 deal that sealed his transition from traditional radio to Sirius XM was very explicit.
The on-air personality’s lawsuit alleged that Howard’s presence on the network helped their subscriptions exceed about 2 million each year since 2006. Sirius reportedly wrapped up 2012 with 23.9 million subscribers, a significant development from its 3.3 million subscribers at the end of 2005.
Howard signed a $500 million five-year deal and began airing his show on Sirius in 2006 after spending decades on traditional radio. The comedian’s lawsuit was filed in 2011, months after renewing his contract for another five-year contract.
Inside The 72-Year-Old’s 2018 Privacy And Negligence Allegations

Howard and the U.S. government won big about eight years ago when a federal court judge from Massachusetts ruled that they did not break any law when his show aired the phone call between a taxpayer, Judith Barrigas, and an IRS agent. As shared by The Hollywood Reporter, the case was traced back to Howard’s radio show in 2015, where Internal Revenue Service agent Jimmy Foresythe placed a call to “The Howard Stern Show” as a guest.
He then got into a call with taxpayer Judith, who had issues with her taxes, when he was placed on hold during the call. However, he returned to the program while still on call with Judith, and parts of his conversation with the taxpayers were aired before Howard called him to order.
The court judge stated in their judgment that the broadcast was not sufficiently personal or intimate, placing Howard and the federal government in the lead. “There may be circumstances in which the publication of tax-related information does constitute an invasion of privacy under Massachusetts law, but for the reasons stated above, the level of the intrusion was significantly diminished here,” the judge declared.
Inside Beth And Howard Stern’s Love Story

The duo tied the knot in 2008 after meeting at a dinner party eight years earlier when Beth was on a date with someone else. Nearly a decade after sealing the deal, Beth raved to PEOPLE about Howard being an incredible husband and a great friend who has a different personality from what everyone else thinks.
They made their red carpet debut in 2003 at a pre-Grammys party in New York City, hosted by Clive Davis. Beth and Howard got engaged in 2007 when he proposed with a 5.2-carat diamond ring ahead of Valentine’s Day. The couple got married in the presence of A-listers such as Joan Rivers, Jimmy Kimmel, Barbara Walters, Kelly Ripa, and others, with Mark Consuelos officiating.
In 2019, Beth trashed split rumors, and that same year, he re-proposed to her during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live. The media personality and Beth then got married for the second time with an impromptu wedding ceremony on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
Will Howard Stern and his wife throw this case behind them, too?
